CLC facilitates creation of a new apprenticeship in conveyancing

BIS-sponsored trailblazer consortium to develop a new occupational standard and apprenticeship in conveyancing
Council for Licensed Conveyancers facilitating work by employer group as part of its commitment to innovation and growth in the sector
New apprenticeship to support broad access to conveyancing profession, increase flexibility in training and set new, stand-alone professional standard

The Council for Licensed Conveyancers is facilitating a group of employers to develop a new apprenticeship in conveyancing as part of this second wave. The apprenticeship will become the national standard for conveyancing apprenticeships.

Being employer-led, the new apprenticeship will deliver learners trained to high standards and assessed in a way that provides clear assurance to employers. It will provide learners with a relevant and highly attractive qualification to help them develop an interesting and rewarding specialist career in legal services. It will also improve consumer protection by developing a larger group of fully-qualified and rigorously assessed providers of conveyancing services.

The Consortium is made up of representatives from the following firms, who all volunteered in response to an open call to take part by the CLC. They are:

Dezrezlegal Ltd
Enact
Total Conveyancing Services
Premier Property Lawyers/ MyHomeMove Ltd.
Specialist Property Lawyers
