MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING

The pandemic changed many things. One welcome area of change has been the increased focus on mental health and wellbeing. The legal industry hasn’t always had the best reputation in this field, but this is changing as firms realise the impact that they can have on improving employee’s mental health and wellbeing.

We have recently teamed up with LawCare to produce a series of articles which cover topics from how to cope with anxiety, to dealing with difficult clients and sleep issues. The articles aim to highlight how common these issues can be, how to spot the signs if you think you may be struggling and signpost how you can seek help.

We have also been speaking to some of our regulated firms who are placing an emphasis on their employees’ mental health and wellbeing. You can read about them here.

If you are looking for further resources on mental health in the legal industry you can find a wealth of information on LawCare’s website. LawCare is a charity who work to provide information and support to anyone in the legal community experiencing mental health and wellbeing problems.
