Stand Alone Probate Licences

The Deregulation Act 2015 which has now received Royal Assent enables the CLC to issue stand alone licences. The CLC will be able to issue licences for the provision of probate services without also requiring the licensee to be a licensed conveyancer authorised to provide conveyancing services. These provisions are unlikely to come into force until mid June 2015 after the appropriate commencement order has come into effect.
