Fostering innovation

The delivery of legal services is constantly evolving as lawyers work hard to keep pace with client expectation, take advantage of advances in technology and respond to the market.

The CLC has a history of fostering innovation in legal services that is built on our unique insight as the regulator of specialist conveyancing and probate lawyers. Now we are looking more closely at the potential for major change coming from what is called legal tech. It is vital that we understand how legal services could change so that we can continue to support innovative lawyers who want to build new businesses to meet the needs of clients of the future while maintaining the high standards of consumer protection that are our hallmark.
