Candidates will have experience of sale and purchase, new build, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity transactions and be able to manage files from initial instruction through to completion. You must be able to work as part of a team, be comfortable with using case management software and deal efficiently and accurately with a busy caseload. Excellent client care skills are essential. Salary commensurate with experience.

Experienced Conveyancers - Leicester and Northampton

Case Handler Required – Northampton

Working in a small team within the firms conveyancing department, the successful applicant will primarily be working on re-mortgage and transfer of equity files but will also be involved in some residential sale and purchase transactions.

You will be familiar with the entire conveyancing process; be familiar with distinctions between registered, unregistered, freehold and leasehold transactions and be able to progress the administration of transactions proactively with all key stakeholders in the process.

Duties will include competently checking search results and mortgage offers, raising any relevant enquiries; keeping referral reports up to date on a daily basis; ensuring that files are kept tidy and case progression plans are kept up to date; dealing with client queries. You should be fully conversant with accounts procedures.

Salary circa £15,300

Conveyancing Executive Required (Repossession Sales) - Northampton

We are looking for an experienced conveyancer to work in our Northampton based repossession sales team. You will need to be familiar with the entire sales process, able to deal competently with all elements of transactions in respect of both private treaty and auction sales including pre-contract enquiries, verifying legal titles for both freehold and leasehold properties.

The successful applicant will be responsible for their own files ensuring payment of prior Charges and dealing with registered interests and notices etc appropriately.

Those dealing with repossession work will need to pass pre-employment checks including proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address and work/study etc activities for the last three years. In addition, all applicants must have a clear credit history.

Salary - market rate, 23 days holiday, pension scheme, and life insurance and company sick pay.
