Land Registry Early Completion Policy
You may be aware from previous information on our website that this new policy is being introduced by Land Registry with effect from 3 August 2009.
However, following discussions with the Land Registry, they have been investigating what notification it can send to a conveyancer when a charge is removed by an ED or e-DS1 after applications have been completed on the basis of early completion. It is now intending to send to the conveyancer who lodged the original application a Registration Completion Sheet and updated official copy. There will be no charge to the conveyancer for this service. They indicate that these changes will hopefully be ready for 3 August 2009.
The attached CLC information note has been prepared on the basis that the registration completion sheet will be available as from 3rd August 2009.
