CLC Governance Review – Executive Summary
19/09/2008
CLC Governance Review – Executive Summary

In July 2007, the Council of the CLC appointed the Foresight Partnership (an independent consultancy) to lead a review of its governance arrangements.
The purpose of the review is to ensure that the CLC’s governance arrangements are fit for purpose to enable it to address effectively the significant challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Good Governance Standard for Public Services was used as the framework to evaluate the existing governance arrangements. The Council has accepted in principle the findings and recommendations of the review and implementation of the agreed recommended actions is underway.

We would like to thank all stakeholders who participated in this review. An Executive Summary of the findings is now available in our ‘Corporate Documents Section’.
