Regulation through the CLC

At the CLC we recognise the need to provide a flexible approach to regulation.

The implementation of the Legal Services Act 2007 will facilitate a diverse choice of regulated providers in the future.

To adapt to the ever-changing environment, we continually review our services through the focus on better practice.

We regulate licence holders by ensuring that they qualify through better practice skills and knowledge.

We aim to ensure that they keep those skills up to date and meet regulatory standards throughout their professional lives.
