   The CLC qualification

The CLC qualification provides access to an exciting and rewarding career in property conveyancing as a licensed conveyancer.

An increasing number of employers recognise the benefits that the CLC qualification can offer their staff.

Our distance learning programme and college courses combine learning with practical training in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

For more information on how the CLC qualification could benefit your staff - and how they can apply to study with us - visit our dedicated Student page

'The CLC offer us the ability to specifically train staff in real specialisation, so that is what

they are accustomed to, that

is what they are used to dealing

with and that is the quality they

can offer to the public.'

Chris Williams

Partner, Goldsmith Williams Solicitors

Regulation through the CLC

At the CLC we recognise the need to provide a flexible approach to regulation.

The implementation of the Legal Services Act 2007 will facilitate a diverse choice of regulated providers in the future.

To adapt to the ever-changing environment, we continually review our services through the focus on better practice.

What we do

We regulate licence holders by ensuring that they qualify through better practice skills and knowledge.

We aim to ensure that they keep those skills up to date and meet regulatory standards throughout their professional lives.

This means that the public can be confident in the professionalism and competence of the licence holders and licensed practices, and be assured that they are buying well regulated services.
